Snowshoe outings - Outing to the Platzerwasel
Descriptif
Let's get our snowshoes on and head off together to the Crêtes Vosgiennes to discover our magnificent landscape! Passionate about the small and discreet inhabitants of our mountains, I'll be talking to you about the adaptation of the local fauna to winter conditions. It's a great way to recharge your batteries and enjoy a great weekend.
Difficulty: +/- 150m ascent and 5km
Minimum age: 8 years.
Times: 9am to 12pm.
Departure point: the Col du Platzerwasel car park.
Price: Adults: €25 - Children: €20 - Tribe (2 adults + 2 children): €75
Price includes: free use of snowshoes and supervision by a qualified mountain leader.
A few tips: A multi-layer system so that you can adjust your clothing according to the temperature and the effort involved: technical underwear, warm fleece, gore tex jacket (windproof and waterproof), hiking trousers, hat, warm gloves, warm waterproof shoes, water bottle or insulated bottle (0.5L / participant minimum), energy bars. Bring sun cream.
You will need your own vehicle to get to the starting point.
Reminder of mountain law: Between 1 November and 31 March, it is compulsory to equip your vehicle with winter tyres or to have chains or snow socks in certain mountain villages.
Dogs and baby carriers are not permitted.
If the snow conditions are not sufficient, the outing will be changed to a walking trip.
A minimum of 4 participants is required for this snowshoe outing. If this number is not reached, we will warn you before the outing and we will reimburse you the totality of the sums paid.
