Beaconing defect

in the Munster Valley

Despite all the care taken to mark out our trails, you may have noticed that a sign has been damaged or torn off, that the markings were not clear, or you may have encountered a problem on our trails: a fallen tree, a gullied path or one in poor condition…

Please let us know as precisely as possible:

Location (locality, photo… ideally a copy of the map with location or GPS coordinates),
Direction,
Sign concerned (signpost)

Why have we changed the waymarking on certain trails?

These changes reflect our desire to make our signposting as easy to understand as possible. Each of our hiking trails is marked by a single sign, which leads from the start to the final destination. When, at a fork in the trail, you come across an X-shaped marker (an easel), this indicates the possibility of joining another route or destination.

The latest edition of our “Vallée de Munster” IGN map is up to date with these markers.
