Just 4 hours from Paris by TGV via Colmar, there are several ways to reach the Munster Valley and get around. Whether by train, bus or bike, we will list below the necessary information so that you can find the best route to our magnificent mountains.

The Munster Valley by TER

The TER train line stops at various stations in the Munster Valley. This means you can go to Metzeral, its terminus, an ideal place for hiking.

Come by BUS

Buses in the Munster Valley have a regular line with Gerardmer in the Vosges. The bus station is located to the left of Munster Train Station.

The Munster Valley is crossed by a cycle path which allows you to connect Wihr au Val to Metzeral.

Tourist office opening hours

From January to May and from September to December:
Monday to Friday: 09:30 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 17:30

Saturday: 09:30 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 17:00

In December, the Tourist Office is open
at the Christmas markets weekends
 
June to August:
Monday to Saturday: 09:00 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 18:00
Sunday and public holidays: 09:00 – 13:00
