Farm Inns

in the Munster Valley

Today they still offer the “marcaire” meal: on the menu soup, pie and salad, Roïgabrageldi and smoked collar and of course Munster cheese or the fresh cheese of the day drizzled with Kirsch brandy, crème fraîche and sugar or a blueberry tart. These Alsace farm inns have woven the Cheese Route which leads from farm to farm, on foot, by car or on donkey back. To obtain the farm inn label, you must meet quality criteria.
