Chitelet summer festival

Weekly entertainment in July-August 2024

Every week in July and August, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of nature-themed activities. They are aimed at a family audience and organized by local players. The activities are open to all and included in the entrance fee. Registration on site.
Located at an altitude of 1228m and boasting 2,500 species of Alpine plants, the Jardin d'altitude du Haut Chitelet is the ideal setting for a successful summer excursion. It is one of two alpine gardens in France. The site also includes a high-altitude beech forest and an astonishing natural peat bog.

- Friday, July 12: Ode to enchanting birds (2pm to 5:30pm).

- Sunday July 28: Paws, feathers, fur balls, animal complicities (Several 30-minute slots: 11am, 11:45am, 2pm, 2:45pm, 3:30pm, 4:15pm, 5pm).
- Friday August 2: Sensory Awakening Workshop (several 1h15 slots: 11am, 2.30pm and 4pm).

- Friday August 16: Récit de la forêt en musique (three performances: 2pm, 3pm and 4pm).
- Friday August 23: Sound bath (three performances: 2pm, 3pm and 4pm).
