Escape to Petit Ballon

Explore the Petit Ballon and marvel at its breathtaking panorama! At the summit, enjoy a view of the plain, the magnificent Munster valley, and, on a clear day, let your gaze stretch all the way to the Alps! A unique experience in the heart of nature, ideal for lovers of wide open spaces and grandiose landscapes.
If the snow invites itself to the rendezvous, your escapade will be transformed into a snowshoe walk for even more magic and change of scenery.

Duration : Approximately 3h
Minimum age : 9 years old
Starting point : Col du Petti ballon
Shift times : 9am to 12pm

Rates:

• Adult: €25
• Child: €13
• Family ( adults and 2 children) : 65€
• The price includes the free use of snowshoes and supervision by a state-qualified mountain leader.

Preparation:

• Shoes: Warm, climbing shoes recommended (ideally walking shoes or après-ski, but no "moon boots").
• Clothing: Dress in a 3-layer system (fleece, waterproof/windproof jacket), warm gloves and hat.
• Rucksack: Carry energy bars, a drink and sunglasses.

Practical information:

• Snowshoes, poles and safety equipment will be provided free of charge in case of snow.
• In the absence of snow, hiking crampons may be substituted for snowshoes.
• Travel to the departure point is by personal vehicle (remember to respect winter equipment requirements in force between November 1 and March 31).

• The outing is confirmed from 4 participants.
• In the event of insufficient numbers, you will be notified and fully reimbursed, or your activity may be rescheduled.
• Dogs and baby carriers are not allowed.
