When you arrive, you'll be warmly welcomed into an inspiring and creative space by Fanny Schaeffer, one of the last paper marble artists in France. The workshop will begin with a presentation on the history of marbled paper and its origins. You will then discover the raw materials and tools needed for this organic technique, which uses natural ingredients such as water, pigments and horsehair brushes. Then it's up to you to play with the colours on the surface of the water! Make your own A3 sheets of marbled paper. If drying time allows, you can arrange to collect your work at a later date.
